ASHLEY GEARY
LCSW
Equine Therapy
I enjoy working with you and coming up with solutions to build self-esteem and self-confidence. Having a solid base of who your are and what you stand for is really important to manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. If you have the skills needed to be confident in yourself, you don't need to find validation from others to build you up. I don't believe any person is 'broken' and many clients I have worked with quickly find solutions to rebuild their world from hurt and stress.
My main approach to therapy is to allow you to manage your own treatment. I feel like I am here as a guide and can help work through stress, borderline personality disorder, women's issues, anxiety, depression, and many other facets of treatment; but I like to let the client remain in charge and seek out their own success rather than me giving it to them.
TREATMENT APPROACH
My treatment approach is to allow you to take control of your goals and treatment. I will assist and guide from my perspective of what I feel you need, but I enjoy seeing the work coming from you to improve your life. A couple of platforms I stand on are self-care and balance in life.
