Equine Assisted Therapy is a form of experiential therapy that includes equine(s). It may include, but is not limited to, a number of mutually beneficial equine activities such as observing, handling, grooming, ground work, therapeutic riding and structured challenging exercises focused on the client’s needs and goals.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy has shown evidenced-based efficacy in children and adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, conduct disorders, trauma, dementia, substance abuse and addiction, spectrum disorders, emotional regulation, and other socio-emotional difficulties.
