Are you seeking a supportive space to navigate life transitions as a young adult, child, or couple? I enjoy working with children and young adults, helping you manage challenges like anxiety, depression, and adjustments to new environments.
I provide a safe and nurturing environment where you can express your feelings freely, allowing for genuine exploration and growth. My goal is to empower you to develop effective coping strategies, build resilience, and foster healthier relationships. I hope to make therapy feel less scary and help you to feel comfortable while reaching your goals.
TREATMENT APPROACH
My philosophy centers on the belief that everyone possesses the capacity to overcome challenges. Together, we will develop coping strategies that empower you to build resilience, tackle difficulties with confidence, and foster personal growth. Let’s leverage your strengths to navigate life’s complexities and embark on a transformative journey toward self-discovery and empowerment. Your path begins with a single conversation, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I enjoy working with young adults, children and couples. As a therapist trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), I can help you quickly replace negative images that contribute to Post-Traumatic Stress with positive ones, often within a single session. This effective approach can help eliminate triggers, reduce nightmares, and stop intrusive thoughts. Additionally, my training in the Gottman Method equips me to work with couples to strengthen their relationships. I focus on building communication skills, enhancing emotional connection, and fostering mutual respect to create healthier dynamics.

-Case Manager at Bear River Mental Health, in Logan, UT
-Therapist at Family Solutions Counseling in Logan, UT
I am a mental health professional with a strong background in supporting individuals through challenges. I specialize in developing personalized treatment plans and coordinating care. I am skilled at building collaborative relationships with clients, families, and healthcare teams to advocate for client needs and promote overall well-being.
WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BECOME A THERAPIST?
I wanted to become a therapist for many reasons. I have always felt a deep connection with people, finding joy in listening to their stories and helping them navigate their challenges. This passion for supporting others led me to pursue a career in social work. My mom, who is a dedicated social worker, has been a significant influence on my decision. Watching her compassion and commitment to helping those in need inspired me to follow a similar path. I believe that through therapy, I can make a meaningful impact on people's lives and contribute to their healing and growth.
WHAT HAS SHAPED YOUR THERAPEUTIC APPROACH?
Learning from diverse individuals has profoundly shaped my therapeutic approach. Each person brings unique experiences, values, and perspectives, which deepens my empathy and allows me to tailor my methods to their needs. I prioritize creating a safe environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories. By actively listening and validating their experiences, I build trust and rapport. I also adapt various therapeutic modalities to resonate with each client, whether through cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, or narrative therapy.
WHAT KIND OF HOMEWORK OR ASSIGNMENTS DO YOU GIVE CLIENTS?
"Homework" is what you make it. Since our time together each week is limited, I encourage you to set goals and practice tools throughout the week. The amount you engage with these activities depends on how much you want to change your symptoms and achieve your goals.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY FIRST SESSION WITH YOU?
Come as you are!! There should be no preparation necessary other than your willingness to talk openly with me about what you are hoping to work on or resolve.
